Well I didn't get the job. Apparently having college connections doesn't help.

I got a letter in the mail today from them: "We have carefully reviewed your qualifications and interests in view of our current needs. At this time, it does not appear as though your skills and interests effectively match our current openings." YES THEY DO!!! I SWEAR IT TO YOU!!! I just feel like I am not very good at effectively communicating how fabulous I am to have as an employee! I am not good at talking about myself. I am really good at demonstrating how loyal, hard working and dedicated I am. I wish I could tell them , "Listen, I will come work for you for a week for free!! Then you can turn me down..."

Ok - I sound pathetic right now, but I am really sad. Its only been a few minutes since I opened the envelope - so I am sure I will be back to a normal level of bummed in a little bit.

Off to search the want ads yet again. *sigh*
