There are few things in this world that I enjoy more than shoe shopping.

There are few things in this world that I enjoy less than shoe shopping with Josh.

I see shoes I like, I buy them. End. Of. Story. Josh has to analyze every pair, making sure they are the right type for what he is going to be doing with them, price comparing, brand comparing, on and on and on. This is because this will be the last pair of shoes that he will buy for a good year I would think. And he probably won't buy another pair of tennis shoes for three or four years. I prefer the method of shoe wear that, you have so many pairs of shoes that you never actually wear any of them out.

So today was try #2 to buy a pair of new tennis shoes. Not just any tennis shoes, specifically "WALKING" tennis shoes. Thanks to Jeff for getting that specific trapped in his head. I say try #2, because try #1 was yesterday and was a total loss. We went to Ross and had a horrible time, nothing was fitting, and I think it was because they had womens sizes mixed in with the mens sizes. And when you are looking at a 12, it doesn't matter if it is mens or womens, its big. Note to Ross: this sort of disorganization does not help my cause when it comes to getting him to shop there. We tried Sears, but he didn't want to go through the "Rigamorole" of having someone go to the back and get his size for him. So we left there pretty quickly.

Try #2 was more successful at Famous Footwear, and I even got the same pair in womens. Matching shoes - how cute are we? Next thing is will be matching sweaters, and then whole matching outfits.

Speaking of matching things - this time next week we may have matching cars. That - I'm not so thrilled about. We are going car shopping, and one of the cars that is in the running from looking at the internet is a car just like his, but 1 year newer and convertible. We'll see. From a financial pov, it makes more sense to get that - it is cheaper and he knows how to fix them. From a purly selfish pov, I want a cool new, different car thats all mine you know?

I will miss the Jeep.

A.

Glad to see you updated your blog. I am so sad that flip flop weather is quickly fading! What is a girl to do?
