So many disappointments as a result of bands from Finland.... So little time.

I know that was random, but that is how my life has been these past few weeks. I had tickets to see my very favorite band in the whole world: The Rasmus for September 25th in Sacramento. They decide not to play that show and head home. Fine, I'm sad but whatever. I'm sure they will be back in the Spring. I sold the tickets for a little under what I bought them for. They were the opening act and would have only played 8 songs, so no biggie, we'll catch them next time.

Next up, we have tickets to see H.I.M. another band from Finland, but more popular. They are headlining this tour, big arenas, no worries. Josh looks online, the San Jose show we were going to on the 29th of October is cancelled, but the rest of the tour looks fine. Since we will receive a refund for those tickets, I buy tickets for the next night in San Diego, since we have 2nd row center seats in LA for the 31st. Not two minutes later, we read that the whole tour is cancelled because they need to get back into the studio to work on their next album. I call bullshit. Really? You couldn't play six more gigs and wait three more weeks to get back into the studio? The songs are vomiting out of you at such terrific rate that you NEED to get a microphone and an engineer in front of you to catch the melodic spew THAT FAST? Josh is heartbroken.

So, I have been so inspired by Ambers transformation of her little abode that I decided to paint my bathroom. I love just walking by and looking at it! It looks much more dramatic in real life than in the pictures. I bought the shower curtain with Kate last weekend at Target for like $12. I took it with me to Home Depot and matched the green in the ribbon for the walls. Love it!! It only took me about two hours, but it made such a huge difference.

Trying to keep up with the Photo a Day I apparently inspired my best friend Traci to do it too. She just turned 30 earlier this month and wants to do it for her whole 30th year.

Also - I have another blog just for my Photography. If I haven't sent you the link for that its right here: Cardas Photography

TTYL!
