Wow, 11 days since I posted last! I didn't think I was THAT bad at this blogging thing. LOL So raise your hand if you think Ali Edwards rocks. To be that talented, nice AND cool? Sheesh. Life is unfair.
I took her Perspectives class today with my mama. Too much fun. The class is supposed to be an "All about me" class about yourself at this moment. And, not that I don't fully enjoy and appreciate the concept, but I have no kids. Every thing I scrap is "All about me." Duh. SO - I did the class from the "Perspective" of Mike the wiener dog.
Totally loved the class. I am in awe of her mad skeels. Thanks Ali.
We went out to a great Mexican place after the class and I got a HUGE Peach Margarita. Ali got a 7-Up, needless to say I felt like a lush... LOL But Damn good Margarita I must say.
This marks the end of Scrapbooking season for me. My oldest sister informed me that last weekend was the kickoff of Hooking season. I told her I was a week off because of this class, but I guess that means I am in full on hooking mode after this. I have one rug almost finished, one that I am finishing up that my mother started but then didn't like the size of, and another that I have to start from scratch because I am teaching it at Teachers Workshop in Eugene in June. I will be judged on my mad teaching skeeels at that, so it has to be good.
Thanksgiving is at my house this year, so I am sure I will have stories to share about that... *sigh*
Later.
