Truth be told, I am a slob. Not a dirty slob, just a cluttered, messy, busy one with WAY too much stuff.

So this weekend we made a trip to IKEA and bought the Expedit shelf I have been coveting for a long long time.

There were some issues in the assembly - the wood dowels that are supposed to hold it together went all the way in flush with the side instead of half way in to support both sides like they are supposed to. So we screwed in some screws instead - it pushed a little piece through the side - but we just turned that side towards the wall :) So - some pics:

This is after a little cleaning already - a lot of the boxes were in front of the desk and a lot of papers were under the desk, and the far left of the desk was covered in crap too...
