So, I haven't blogged much because my life is pretty boring. I have in my head that I should blog something interesting.... yet my days have been filled with work or cleaning my house. Fun fun.

Well - I did get two of my wisdom teeth out last Monday. So easy. I know some people have more difficult extractions than I did, but I really saw no need to be put to sleep. So many people told me I was crazy to just have them numb it. But it was seriously like 2 minutes total. I didn't even notice that he pulled the top one, I thought he was just setting stuff up or something. I had them done in North Bend, and then my mother took care of me while I slept for the next two days. For not having anything besides Vicotin I was sure exhausted!

I drove up and back to Portland to work on Friday. The weather was so perfect in the afternoon for the drive home. It was that perfect temperature for driving 74-ish. Warm enough to have the windows down and the sunroof open, but cool enough to not need the air conditioner. I know that hot weather gets people cranky and all - but I do think that air conditioning in cars has caused a decline of friendliness on our highways. I had the radio blaring Al Green, David Byrne and The Cardigans (love those random radio stations) with my arm hanging out the window for a good 20 minutes. Somehow it made the traffic more bearable. It is that time of year however that I need sunglasses but don't know where a single one of my 20 pairs are. So I bought another one today.

Today Josh and I actually did something. Usually we just hang around the house - but we did get out in this beautiful weather. Being as it is going to rain tomorrow and through next week - I thought we should take advantage of it while we can. We drove through the fields to Lebanon to the auction at the Boys and Girls club for the local high school. I donated my services for a family portrait session to the silent auction. I can't wait to meet who won it! The live auction was crazy - they made some big bucks from what I could tell! There were lamps and chairs going for upwards of $400 and $500!! Way out of my league - so we took our chicken bar-be-que lunch to the park across the street and sat at a picnic table and ate. So nice!

These pictures are from the drive home. Josh took some backroads I had never been on and actually stopped the car so I could get out and photograph them - what a guy huh? Usually I am trying to get a good shot through the windows of my car as we speed along - but my car is way too dirty for that right now. That usually means its time for an oil change - the only time my car ever gets washed.

I am heading down to Eugene tomorrow for a meeting with one of my brides to help her with her invitations. She is using the pictures I took of them at their engagement shoot! How cool! I also have a meeting on Monday with a girl who is driving up from Springfield about her wedding. This summer is filling up already! I thought I liked having my weekends open since getting out of radio - apparently not. lol

Al Green (if its at least 30 years old), David Byrne (always) and The Cardigans (do we really need to leave the USA to come up with odd bands?)...

Must of been a mix up in the muscial gene pool.

Your cousin, Ginger
